I
am Jaroslav Martykan from the Czech Republic and the Honorary President
of the Czech Vexillological Society. I am happy to greet you at the
occasion of the 50th anniversary of our Czech Vexillological Society in
this year. We are celebrating this jubilee and I would like to make a
little contribution, too (see www.vexilologie.cz).
We
met at the 25th ICV in Rotterdam last time or/and during many national
meetings of German vexillologists (in Raschau-Markersbach in 2018 last
time) I visited regularly in the past. However, due to my quite frequent
health problems I could not meet my old friends in flags personally for
several years.
That is the
reason I have prepared a special publication for you if you are
interested in. This publication is also dedicated to the mentioned CVS
jubilee.
The Flags of Somalian States and Their History,
published by the Flag Data Centre in May 2022 brings a short analysis
of vexillological history of Somalia since its colonial era up to the
present with a special focus on the last thirty years. This publication
presents historical and vexillological data and 107 colour illustrations
of flags and arms on 76 pages for price of EUR/USD 10,- only. Payment through PayPal is available.

Ich bin Jaroslav Martykan aus der Tschechischen Republik und der
Ehrenpräsident der Tschechischen Vexillologischen Gesellschaft.
Ich freue mich, Sie anlässlich des 50-jährigen Bestehens
unserer tschechischen vexillologischen Gesellschaft in diesem Jahr
begrüßen zu dürfen. Wir feiern dieses Jubiläum und
ich möchte auch einen kleinen Beitrag dazu leisten (siehe

ICV in Rotterdam oder/und bei vielen nationalen Treffen der deutschen
Vexillologen (zuletzt 2018 in Raschau-Markersbach), die ich in der
Vergangenheit regelmäßig besucht habe. Aufgrund meiner
